About North Center
North Center is mostly centered off of the six-way intersection where Irving Park Road intersects Lincoln and Damen Avenue, but also includes the trendy area of Roscoe Village. Originally influenced heavily by the early European immigrants that settled in this area, the community retains a classic charm in it's well kept brick homes, tree-lined streets and large picturesque parks. You can expect to find elegant Victorian single family homes, strips of antique stores, cafes and English style pubs.
Over the years the demographics of North Center have shifted slightly from more of a hipster vibe to a family atmosphere, partially due to the highly rated schools located here.
